Guadalupe Mountains National Park
Featuring the highest peak in Texas at 8,751′, Guadalupe Peak, rising more than 3,000 feet above the arid floor of the Chihuahuan Desert. Established in September 30, 1972, the mountains have Archaeological evidence showing that people have lived there lived over 10,000 years.
The untamed West of the Guads with all its cranky, craggy, dusty, arid majesty seems to have been frozen in time….For the modern day adventurer willing to find and make peace with this remote and inhospitable place, the rewards stimulate the senses and challenge the imagination.
